Pablo Pastor Villalobos
My name is Pablo Pastor Villalobos, a licensed lawyer with a wide range of experience specialising in commercial law, particularly in advising on corporate and commercial sectors as well as real-estate and construction legal areas.
I have a Law degree from the University of Málaga and have continued my training with studies in the following:
- A Master’s in International Relations from the University of Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) where I also conducted a seminar at the University of Georgetown in Washington DC
- A Master’s in Corporate Law Consultation from the University of Málaga
- Expert qualification in Corporate Law from the International University of Málaga
- DPO (Data Protection Officer) certification taught by Thomson Reuters Aranzadi.
Professional Experience
During my professional career, I have been able to actively advise in a range of areas, providing legal solutions to companies in different sectors.
Banking:
As the lawyer in charge of various asset recovery procedures for banking entities, I have extensive experience in all types of real-estate asset closure procedures. In addition, I have been a defence attorney for banking entities for floor clauses, swaps and other financial procedures.
Real-estate:
In the field of real-estate, I have been fortunate to gain experience acting as a legal advisor for large volume and complex asset transactions, predominantly in Málaga and Madrid, as well as in other Spanish cities such as in Murcia, Granada and Seville.
have overseen and coordinated Due Diligence legal procedures for the acquisition of all types of assets, including for the completion of these procedures and the preparation of the legal documents needed for the formalisation of these operations. Consequently, I have extensive experience in contractual real-estate, registry, tax and urban real-estate law.
Construction:
I also have experience as a legal advisor in this sector, supporting various development companies on the Costa del Sol in the process of constructing and developing homes.
Within the construction sector, I have also acted as legal director of liability claims procedures for construction faults and defects. In addition, I have acted as an advisor to different development companies either making claims against different construction entities or in defence of the developer itself, against the claims of the property owners.
Retail and Commercial Centres:
In this field, I have had the opportunity to be part of the legal advisory team for a group that owns two prominent shopping centres in the province of Malaga.
Furthermore, as a lawyer, I have implemented many eviction procedures against various tenants, in defence of the interests of the owners of the premises.
Business Consultancy:
As an advisor in corporate law, I have been part of a specialised team resolving all kinds of queries to all types of SMEs in different sectors (real-estate investment, automobile, construction, restoration and transport etc).
Amongst the various tasks I have performed as part of this team, a highlight is the management of corporate administration of different companies, preparing the necessary documentation for the day to day running of the company (meeting minutes, power of attorney, certificates, calls for meetings of administration councils), as well as participating in all kinds of corporate operations (increases and reductions in capital, accordion operations, demergers, acquisition of companies etc).
Judicial proceedings and procedural law:
Notwithstanding the experience developed throughout my professional career in the aforementioned sectors, I also have experience in procedural matters and assistance in all types of judicial proceedings.
Beyond the experience gained during all kinds of hearings in foreclosure procedures, floor clauses, evictions and constructive faults, I have also acted as a lawyer in processes of a very different nature, from property claim procedures, boundary disputes,claims for amounts due to contractual breaches, liability proceedings against company administrators and company dissolution proceedings.

Similarly, due to my interest in different technological innovations and their potential application to the legal field (Legaltech), I am currently in the process of researching this field. My research focuses on the possible implication of this technology (DLT or Blockchain) to the operation of commercial companies.
